The W.J. Gage Co. Limited was a Toronto publisher located at 52 & 54 Front Street West late in the 19th century. On their business envelopes, (example from 1897 shown above, with a Toronto Flag F cancel), they noted they were “Book Sellers, Envelope Makers” and “Manufacturing Stationers”.
