The cover lists a number of J.C. Wilson products. The back of the cover notes the company as

The cover below was postmarked on March 26, 1896 in Montreal with an early M2 Montreal machine cancel, dispatched to Upper Stewiacke, NS, with a receiving mark of what appears to be Brookfield, in Colchester County, March 30. The cover lists a number of J.C. Wilson products. The back of the cover notes the company’s Standard Eclipse Mikado, Improved Self Opening Square Paper Bags, “The Most Perfect Bag Made”. The same process of printing in sepia ink on the folded envelope was subsequently used to print lyrics on the backs of JC Wilson patriotic covers.

The cover below was postmarked on June 26, 1897 with a Montreal Type 4-3 Diamond Jubilee Flag cancellation on a 3¢ Jubilee stamp, dispatched to Amherst, NS, with a receiving mark on the back. The cover lists a number of J.C. Wilson products and matches that used on the 1896 cover J.C. Wilson & Co. cover.
