Foreign Usage

J.C. Wilson patriotic postcards that have been used in foreign countries are not uncommon, especially for uses within the USA.

In some cases cards were purchased on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, but mailed in the USA by Americans returning home, but there are also examples of J.C. Wilson & Co. regularly selling their cards to resellers in the USA, and also to American companies who chose to print their own messages on the cards for local distribution, as shown below.

Even though American uses can be common, some of the more unusual American uses can still be interesting, as can some of the more exotic overseas uses, which can be quite scarce. This page illustrates some examples of those cards.
